2011 Ag Expo will Highlight Value-Added Farm Ventures

Visitors to the 2011 Michigan Ag Expo can stop by the field crops tent and talk with MSU Product Center counselors about how other farm families have successfully launched value added ventures.

The counselors will also be on hand to talk to you about potential opportunities you might want to explore and how to get started with your own ideas and dreams.

The counselors will explain the entrepreneurial trainings that take place throughout the state, the product development services provided and the one-on-one counseling that is available. If you are already in business and have a product to sell, the MSU Product Center counselors will demonstrate a web based marketing tool, Market Maker, for you and even get you on board.

Take advantage of this opportunity to find out how you can take the next steps to add value and more profit to your farm operation.
